How To Order Payment Despatch Courier Loss Policy Returns Warranty
General

It is the absolute responsibility of the BUYER, not Xsidea to ascertain and obey any and all applicable local or country laws in regards to possession and use of any items in this on-line catalogue or any items purchased through Xsidea. Please consult with your attorney, and local or country laws before ordering any merchandise from Xsidea.

By placing an order, the buyer represents the he/she is of legal age (18) and that any and all products purchased will only be used in a lawful manner. The purchaser assumes all liability or damage resulting from the use, misuse or unlawful use of any of the products offered. In particular, Radar Detectors ARE illegal in some commercial vehicles and some countries.
Xsidea or the manufacturer reserves the right to revise or make improvements to its product at any time and without obligation to notify any person of such revisions or improvements. In no event shall Xsidea or the manufacturer be liable for any consequential, incidental damages or other damages whatsoever, including any loss of business profits or any other commercial damages, arising out of the use of its products.

How To Order

Orders can be sent by email, fax, post or placed by telephone - but Do Not enter your credit card details if you are emailing the order to Xsidea as this site is not secure.
Ordering Online
1) Use the "Buy" buttons on the product pages to add the required quantity to your shopping cart. You can navigate around the site and add up to 12 items.
2) Check your order at any time by clicking on "Shopping Cart" at the left hand side of the page.
3) When your order is ready, just complete the "Contact & Delivery Address" details, print a copy for your records, and send the order by email by using the "Send Your Order Now" button.
4) We will then contact you to advise the delivery details and to arrange payment from you.
5) Alternatively, you could send the printed order by post or fax, or place the order by phone.

Print out the pdf order form, complete it and then post or fax it to us.

Payment

1) We accept UK Cheques, Postal Orders, Sterling Bank Drafts, Major Credit / Debit Cards and Bank Transfers (Electron cards and Charge cards are not accepted).
2) Please make cheques/drafts payable to Xsidea, and cross ostal orders "A/C Payee Only".
3) For bank transfers email us for our bank details.
4) We do not supply goods on a cash on delivery basis.
5) Please do not send cash in the mail.
6) For credit card sales the following will also apply :
a) You must be the registered card holder to order any item from Xsidea.
b) Goods are generally sent to the registered card holder's address. However, if the goods are to be sent elsewhere (e.g. your place of work) for security reasons we will send a copy of the order to the credit card holder's address prior to releasing goods.
c) We may verify your name and address with your card issuer.
d) Customers must provide a daytime telephone number.
e) We log all originating information on online orders.
f) We do not add surcharges to credit or debit cards.
7) All prices include VAT, for all goods sent to the UK or EC, at 17.5%, if payable by Xsidea.

Despatch

1) Goods will usually sent by post, recorded mail, special delivery or insured courier and will have to be signed for on receipt.
2) Delivery will be charged at the appropriate rates for the order and calculated by weight & size of the shipment, and will be advise to you prior to processing and despatching the order.
3) Stock items are usually despatched within 3-10 working days provided there are no problems with payment clearance or stock. In busy periods, please allow up to 28 days.
4) Although we will make every effort to ensure your products are delivered within the time stated, we take no responsibility for loss or damage incurred where delivery is time dependent.
5) Please examine goods before signing for them to ensure they are in good condition.
6) We regret that we are currently unable to take online orders outside the European Union. For orders outside the European Union please e-mail us for details.

Courier Loss Policy

1) Once confirmation of loss is provided to Xsidea by the courier, Xsidea will endeavour to replace the item as soon as possible. If the model is obsolete, we will, by agreement, endeavour to replace it with an equivalent model or issue a refund.
2) Xsidea will bill the courier directly for any loss. The delivery contract is between Xsidea and the courier.
3) No compensation is payable to the customer for delayed receipt or inconvenience.

Returns

1) If you experience a problem with an item purchased from us, please contact us straight away.
2) We certainly want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase however, due to abuse of our liberal return policy, the following returns policy must be enforced :
a) Goods are not sold on a trial basis.
b) We are unable to accept returns without a return authorization number from Xsidea, that is also clearly marked on the outside of the shipping box.
c) Goods accepted for return, with all original packaging, paperwork and manuals and in new condition are subject to a restocking charge of 30% of the original purchase price.
d) Returns will only be accepted within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date. Absolutely no returns, exchanges or refunds can or will be given after 30 days calendar days.
e) Any and all shipping and handling charges are NOT refundable.
3) NO returns can be accepted on custom designed, clearance or special order items.
4) Please return products as agreed with Xsidea, prepaid and insured, and obtain a tracking number for your protection. Xsidea does NOT pay for or refund shipping and handling charges.
5) If Xsidea accepts a return from the shipper and after inspecting and opening the packaging we realize that some items are damaged or missing, Xsidea may return the package to the sender.
6) Authorised refunds/replacements received in the condition stated above, will be refunded or replaced as agreed, as soon as possible. Should a direct replacement not be possible, then by agreement, we will endeavour to replace it with an equivalent model or issue a refund.
7) Please return all goods with the original invoice - this allows us to deal promptly with your returned items.

Warranty
1) Goods are generally guaranteed for a period of 1 year from purchase, unless otherwise stated.
2) The manufacturer warrants to the purchaser all items sold by Xsidea to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year (unless otherwise stated) from the date of purchase. Defects caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, modifications, negligence, acts of God, tampering, unauthorized repairs and or other causes beyond the control of Xsidea or its manufacturers are not covered by this warranty.
3) In order to activate your warranty, you must fill out and mail any Warranty Information Sheets that are enclosed with your order.
4) This warranty does not cover any incidental or consequential damages and is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied and no representative or person is authorized to assume for us any other liability in connection with the sale of our products.
